What is the ISO 45001 Internal Auditor course?
The ISO 45001 internal auditor course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct and report internal audits of an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) in accordance with ISO 45001:2018. Participants apply the audit principles of ISO 19011:2026 and practise identifying nonconformities and opportunities for improvement.
Internal audits are a requirement of ISO 45001. Trained internal auditors help your organisation keep its OHSMS effective and prepare for certification, surveillance and recertification audits.

ISO 45001 Internal Auditor questions
How much does the ISO 45001 Internal Auditor course cost?
S$381.50 per participant, including GST of S$31.50 (9% of the full course fee of S$350.00). There is no SkillsFuture funding for this course.
Do participants need auditing experience?
No. The course teaches the audit method from the start. A working knowledge of your organisation’s management system helps.
Is the course updated for the latest versions?
Yes. The course covers ISO 45001:2018 and the audit guidance in ISO 19011:2026.
Does the course qualify participants to audit for a certification body?
No. It trains internal auditors for your own organisation. Certification body auditors need a separate lead auditor qualification.
How are participants assessed?
Through a syndicate exercise on audit checklist preparation, an MCQ test on concepts and requirements, and a case study test on spotting nonconformities.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who attend at least 75% of the course and pass all tests receive a certificate of successful completion.
Does the course award SDU points?
Yes. The ISO 45001 internal auditor course awards 4 SDU points under the Ministry of Manpower’s continuing professional development scheme for WSH professionals.
Is the course held online?
Yes. It is a live online class on Zoom, taught by a CCIS trainer. Participants join from their own computer with a stable internet connection.
What level of English is required?
Participants should have a minimum of GCE N level English.
