- about MOM-APPROVED RISK MANAGEMENT (CONSULTANT)

1. WHEN ?

WSH (Risk Management) Regulation 2006 came into effect on 1st March 2006 and has been enforceable as of 1st September 2006. Our Consulting service is applicable to you if you have intention to outsource the risk–assessment company project to an MOM-approved consultant CCIS – sit back and see the project launching and audited with success – through RMAF (government Grant).

2. WHERE?

It applies to all WORKPLACES

– with your commitments to full legal compliance

3. WHO ?

Every employer, self-employed person and principal (including contractor and sub-contractor) must conduct a risk assessment in relation to the safety and health hazards associated with any routine and non-routine works carried on at the workplace(s)

4. WHAT?

- Workplaces without risk management will expose itself to MOM fine of S$10,000/= in first offence and S$20,000/= in subsequent offence or 6 months jail or both

- Every workplace will have to :
        - conduct Risk Assessment
        - eliminate and control risk
        - keep record of risk assessment
        - provide information
        - review Risk Assessment

5. WHY?

- you are in search of a third-party facilitator approved by MOM for your company to be doubly assured of legal compliance before audit(s)

- you don’t want to be fined or jailed :
    – for not doing it
    – for not doing it right (by completeness and depth too)

- you may know risk assessment – but may not know the latest MOM-approved risk-assessment methodology; and you have no time to follow up for the latest MOM-approved methodology;

- you have been trained but don’t want to appear in court, answering questions on :
    – your qualifications
    – your competence on MOM-approved methods and latest requirements (you might as well make use of the Grant earlier and use CCIS as consultants to facilitate risk assessment for passing audit)
